Je ne peux pas me lever & descendre à payer avant mon café du matin: solution trouver! Merci!
If you move from one parking spot to another, there’s no way to cancel the current space and start a new session where you’re parking now. Also: the FAQ is in French, with no option for English
Atrocious app. Need canadian vpn to make it work else it wont load. Map doesn’t work. Horrible
Prepay does not work
The plus: worked eventually Downside: - no applepay button. Had to jump back and forth between two apps to type in my credentials - confusing if you don’t know how prepayment work. It tells you to press the “i”, and when you click on it, it tells you do the same thing again, but there is no i. From reading the app, it looked like you had to prepay for the prepayment period , but in reality that is the period when you are allowed to prepay for the following period. Unclear and why even limit this? To figure this out, we had to call. The plus side: the phone number was right there. The downside: couldn’t click on it, had to type it in. A voicemail in French which we couldn’t really understand as whiney tourists. Then it said press 9 for English, which did nothing. In fact, no menu option did anything. After making a symphony of touchstone we gave up and stayed on the line and eventually it connected us to a helpful person.
App says internet not connected on roaming eSIMs, there’s no kiosk as well so it’s impossible to park if you are a foreigner.
Compare this app to any other city’s parking app and you’ll see this is garbage. You can’t even add time to your spot! And there’s no lock screen widget. And no Apple Pay. Etc.
Recently visited Montreal and downloaded the app. It works great. Wish my big American city had a comparable app. As many reviewers have noted, the app could be improved by including the ability to extend time to the meter. (The parking app for Westmount has that feature.) There is a workaround (paying again for the same parking spot), but it's not as efficient and you don't get credit for the time remaining on the meter before you start your new session (so it's better to start the new session shortly before the time on the existing session is set to expire). Other than that, can't think of anything to improve.
Just starting using the app and it is extremely easy to use and the small convenience fee is worth not having to find a pay station and pulling my wallet out in the middle of a crowd. Great during inclement weather as well.
This app does not notify when the parking expires, which is an essential feature of any parking app. It sends a notification 10 minutes before, which is a useless notification, since the app doesn’t provide an option to extend the session. When we receive the notification we can’t do anything at that time, and have to wait for session to expire. And when the session expires, there is absolutely no notification. This app should allow to extend current session.
People in Montreal are so lucky to Have a parking app...paying while away is easy and fast...no more running back to the car
Super convenient app to use for parking in Montreal for visitors or residents. We are regular visitors to the City, and have been frustrated by not having change or not having credit cards that work in the parking machines.
This is the way fee parking should be managed. Every metropolitan city should have this.
Easy to use and really convenient. Set an alarm for when the two/one hours parking expires so you remember to either move it or renew!
It is very simple and easy + fast.
This app is legit!!! I do not have to freeze my a** to pay for parking. Good work!
Didn’t like needing to preload the card in Toronto, this was easier to use and doesn’t require loading $ on the cars to get started which is a plus.
It is more than perfect and available any where
Easy and efficient
This app helped us a lot by paying for parking without leaving our car in the rain. It would work even better in winter. Easy and intuitive. Thanks.
Update parking from your meeting, barstool, or barber chair. So easy to pay for metered street parking.
I was visiting Montreal for the first time and don’t speak French. I was having trouble figuring out how to read parking signs and finally asked someone for help. His name is Devin Patel and he works at Stationnement de Montréal He was enjoying some food and kindly helped me decipher the street signs and told me how to download the app and pay for parking. Super easy and convenient. Love the app and loved the friendly help. Thank you, Devin!
This is how fee parking ought to be done everywhere. Visiting Montreal from out of town and we found trying to use the kiosks on the street mystifying. Terse little messages told us that parking wasn’t permitted or wouldn’t accept our credit card. We were somewhat baffled until we logged into Stationment de Montreal on the web. Grabbed the app, set it up in minutes and easily saved myself $100 in parking tickets. Out-of-towners: look for the yellow slots on Le Plateau, park your car, use the app and use Uber! The app even sends you reminders when your parking spot is about to expire!
We returned to tour around this beautiful city after 20 years absence. And thanks for this app so we no longer have to worry about parking expiration like we used to be anymore! Merci merci beaucoup!
Love not having to run n out and refill the meter
Says error every time you use it. Completely worthless.
Too awesome again
Works well
The app doesn't track and check payments. I have just paid twice: Q689 and Q690. I am not local. Q689 was occupied and I mistakenly paid for it. The owner dashboard shows the ticket from payment. The system should have asked to confirm that I was entering the accurate spot number. I re-opened tha app to pay for Q690. The system pulled my credit card and the paymeny that I made moments earlier. But it did not check or asked to confirm or switch spot number from previous payment. I paid again to avoid bureaucratic hassle. This needs to change.
